What ATSScoreboard does

ATSScoreboard is a Chrome extension and web service that compares your resume to live job descriptions, generates an ATS-style match score, shows JD review and match evidence, and provides improvement suggestions including AI coaching.

Data we process

  • Resume content — text you paste or files you upload (PDF/DOCX) for analysis.
  • Job description content — extracted from the page you are viewing when you click Analyze.
  • Technical data — timestamps, request logs, and IP address for security, rate limiting, and debugging.
  • Billing data — managed by Stripe. We do not store your full card details.

How we use data

  • Generate match scores, keyword-gap reports, JD review, match evidence, and parse previews.
  • Provide Starter semantic fairness checks and paid features such as AI Coach, Tailor Wizard, and company culture intel.
  • Protect the service from abuse (rate limiting) and maintain reliability.
  • Process subscription payments through Stripe.

Storage and retention

Resume and job description content is processed transiently — we generate results and do not store this content long-term. Score history and saved resume profiles are stored locally in your browser's chrome.storage.local and are not sent to our servers as long-term analysis archives. We may store limited server logs for debugging, fraud prevention, and security.

AI providers

AI semantic fairness checks and AI Coach features use Anthropic (Claude). When you run a semantic review or click "Get AI Analysis," relevant resume and JD text is sent to Anthropic's API for processing. Anthropic does not use this data for training. See Anthropic's privacy policy.

Payments

All payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number. You can manage your subscription (cancel, update payment method, view invoices) through the Stripe Customer Portal, accessible via the "Manage" button in the extension.

Your choices

  • Use the free plan with no account or payment information required.
  • Paste text instead of uploading files.
  • Clear your local score history and saved resumes from Chrome's extension storage at any time.
  • Cancel your subscription and request deletion of billing metadata by emailing us.
